 Update -- June 1, 2007

Dear Divers and Parents,

I have the pics up from the last meet -- check out the HDA Championships Pics Page.

It's June, and we start the month off with the biggest meet of the year on the Hawaiian circuit -- the Aloha State Games.  We will have our final practice before the Games tomorrow at Schofield at 4 PM.

ALOHA STATE GAMES -- SUNDAY, JUNE 3

Let's all please meet at the Central Oahu Regional Park pool at 8:30 AM to warm up and stretch out before getting in to practice.   Most of us have been there before, but if you need directions, just follow the "Driving Directions" link on the main page of this site.  It will be hot and sunny -- bring plenty of sunscreen and water!

WELCOME TO SAMANTHA

Our latest Tropic Lightning member is Samantha, a level 5 gymnast who is juggling two sports now!  She has been with us for about two weeks, and will be off on a European vacation for the next few.  We look forward to seeing you at the end of June, and have a great time on your trip!

COACH JEFF IS NOW A FINA CERTIFIED JUDGE

During the second week of May, Coach Jeff went to Fort Lauderdale, FL, for the FINA USA Grand Prix Diving Event and Judging School.  He is now certified to judge international events, and will hopefully get the opportunity to do so sometime soon!

ASL CORNER

Now that the deaf kids are back (well, BJ, at least), and you'll see them (him) at least once a month at meets, check out the ASL Corner,  Do the lessons as you want to, ask me for help as you need.

Okies, That's all for now!
