Update -- April 25, 2009

Dear Divers, Parents, and Supporters,  

Alumna News

After a disappointing NCAA Season, TLDT alumna Aleia had a good USA Spring Nationals showing, regaining her rightful place as one of the elite divers in the country as a finalist in the Women's Platform event.  Her top effort was her 305C, which earned 63 points and her first-ever National 8.5.

Upcoming Events 

FINA Grand Prix -- Coach Jeff will be heading to Fort Lauderdale on the afternoon of Monday, May 5, and returning on the evening of Sunday, May 10.  Sooo, no workouts that week.

Upon his return, we will begin Kaiser workouts again, as the Kaiser High Girl's Water Polo Team will be finished with their season.  We will start with Wednesday workouts on My 13, and perhaps add one weekend day as well.

HDA Championships -- Saturday, May 24.  I will send out the forms to everyone by e-mail this week.

Aloha State Games -- Sunday, June 7

Regionals -- The San Diego Regional Meet has been changed to Albuquerque, NM. for the weekend of June 20-21.  Please speak to me ASAP about your plans to attend or not attend, so we can prepare out finances, training plans, and travel plans accordingly.

Recently reinstated, as Coach Jeff's foster son, and TLDT diver  is deaf and will be a presence at many workouts and meets, this reference is here so you all can learn to communicate with our deaf community member: check out the ASL Corner,  do the lessons as you want to, ask me for help as you need.
