Tropic Lightning Fall Invite
Meet Information
All Information is FINAL, approved by the Richardson Pool Management!
Rules: This meet will be governed by 2006-2007 USA Diving rules with several exceptions. See following section on Competition Notes.
Competition
Notes:
-- Future Champions Event rules will be modified such that the
descriptions of the dives will be limited to the skill and position performed.
All entries will be announced as free (D) and the choice of the position
will be the divers’.
-- All 11 and Under Future Champions Divers will be grouped by Levels,
regardless of age and gender for the springboard events
(i.e., a 7 year old girl, a 9 year old boy, and an 11 year old boy who
are all Level 2 will compete with each other for the awards).
-- All 12 and Older Future Champions Divers will be grouped by Levels,
regardless of age and gender for the springboard events
(i.e., a 13 year old girl, a 15 year old girl, and a 14 year old boy who
are all Level 6 will compete with each other for the awards).
-- The Platform Events will consist of any combination of four different
skills/dives, each of which will be assigned a degree of difficulty of 1.0.
-- All 11 and Under Divers will be grouped, regardless of age and gender,
for the platform event. (i.e., a 9
year old boy, a 9 year old girl, and an 11 year old boy will compete with each
other for the awards).
-- All 12 and Older Divers will be grouped, regardless of age and gender,
for the platform event. (i.e., a 12 year old boy, a 16 year old girl, and an 14
year old boy will compete with each other for the awards).
-- Junior, Senior, and Masters Divers will choose the springboard contest
they enter: 8 dives, 9 dives, or 10
dives. Divers with fewer than 8
dives will participate in Future Champions.
Dives will be announced using Dive Number and Letter. Descriptions will be
provided at the request of the diver.
-- Junior, Senior, and Masters divers will be grouped, regardless of age
and gender, in the above-described contests (i.e., a 13 year old girl, an 11
year old boy, and an 48 year old woman can all choose to do a 9-dive list that
conforms to USA Diving 9-dive contest list requirements (1M vols = max. 9.0),
and compete with each other for the awards.
A Junior diver who is age 11, an age group that competes only 5 dives,
and who does not wish to compete 8 dives, will join the Future Champions level
of his/her choice and add skills/dives to complete the list).

Entry
Fees:
$10.00
per event – Make checks payable to:
Jeff Stabile Diving Enterprises. Send Entries to Jeff Stabile at the
above address.
Deadline: One hour before the start of the events.
No late fees.
Awards: Medals places 1-3; ribbons places 4-6. Distinctive Awards for the Best Skill by a Male, Best Skill by a Female, Best Dive by a Male, and Best Dive by a Female.
